About

Hope Journey Counseling Services was created to be a supportive space where people feel valued beyond their struggles. A space where you don’t have to have everything figured out, and where you are welcomed as a whole person with your own story, identity, and hopes for the future. Our commitment is to help people reclaim their voice and recognize their inherent strength.

At Hope Journey, we hold space for what has shaped you, what you’re navigating today, and the person you’re becoming. Here, therapy is a collaborative journey. We slow down, explore with curiosity, and work together to release patterns that no longer feel helpful, while nurturing the parts of you that want to grow.

Our hope is that you walk away feeling more grounded, more seen, and more connected to yourself.

You deserve a place where healing is possible. Hope Journey is that place. Hope Journey Counseling Services provides virtual therapy for teens and adults in Virginia, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions and other concerns.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide inclusive, trauma-informed therapy that supports personal healing, emotional growth, and meaningful change for teens and adults navigating life’s challenges.

About Me

Hi, I’m Migdalis Nieves, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia. I work with adults and teens who often feel stuck in patterns shaped by past experiences, whether that shows up as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, difficulty in relationships, or a sense of disconnection from themselves.

I focus on creating a space where you can show up as yourself, including the parts you’ve kept quiet, questioned, or learned to hide in order to get by.

Therapy with me is collaborative and thoughtful, with attention to understanding patterns, strengthening emotional safety, and supporting change in a way that honors your pace and lived experience.

If you’re considering therapy as a next step and want support that feels grounded, attuned, and respectful of your process, I welcome the opportunity to work together.
